Why didn't Japan vaccinate?

I suppose they were like us. They had success with quarantine, social distancing and so on so perhaps did not rush to vaccinate. Delta has not been receptive to the previous measures and now there is the need to urgently vaccinate.

Probably because they know it's all a bunch of BS. In terms of intelligence, can't deny it that Japan leaders are ten times more smarter and the overall country is better educated than anything in the USA!
