There was no other reason for that ball to move at that moment. Whatever he did, soling the putter/shifting his body weight/wind/whatever - he made the ball move and that's a penalty. I'm surprised he didn't call it on himself on the spot and move on. I do believe Fox went waaay overboard on the coverage after that - I'll blame Joe Buck since he's a tool like that. haha
I'm sure DJ never thought twice about it after that and no other player cared. It's the USOpen, they have bigger things to think about and it showed.
Anyway, the Fox coverage was pretty meh overall. Curtis Strange was good to have back but the rest and some of the hokey studio stuff needs to go.
