We saw the replay. When Gary Stevens said let's go she took off. Acceleration was amazing. It was a win and your in the Breeder's Cup. She may or may not decide on the Classic if they do get a choice. I think it was the first time she had ever faced the males and maybe the first time at that distance last night.

American Pharoah races the 29th on NBC. The Travers and his old fried Frosted may be there.
-----------------------
Expected to start in the Travers are Keen Ice, who finished second in the Haskell, along with Texas Red and Frosted, the one-two finishers from the Jim Dandy Stakes, a key prep race run at Saratoga on Aug. 1.

Texas Red is a very dangerous horse for AP.

Gary Stevens didn't give her the command to go, she did that on her own. If you notice in the replay, another horse is moving up on her on her left side and that seemed to have set her off.

She has a 114 Beyer figure in that race. That is the fastest run by any horse this whole year.

I believe the owners have a choice of the Breeder's Cup races. She also qualifies for the Distaff based on her win in the Clement Hirsch. I hope they choose the Classic.
