I feel like 2016 is the last good chance he has left. He came so close for years and every time was stopped by Nadal and Federer (2011). 2015 was supposed to be it with Nadal out of shape and out of the way, but then there comes this Stan, the Anti-Djokovic.

With new comers like Nishikori and Roanic and few others are slowly going into the top ranking spots, and with Djokovic approaching and pushing 30, do you think he will ever win the Career Grand Slam title?

He was primed this year, but just ran into a hard hitting Stan, playing lights out tennis. (his own gameplan was too defensive though, no counter to Stan's all out attack)
Prior to this year he was just outplayed , by the best claycourter ever.
Next year I believe he will get it, but he still has a couple of years left imo.
Otherwise he could end up like a Lendl at Wimbledon etc, remembered as just not quite good enough to do it.
It should also be remembered that the Career Grand Slam only became a word, and became vogue, with Agassi anyway. Guys like Sampras did not target it.

It is very important today. There will be a HUGE black mark on Federer's resume if he did not win the one French Open. Can you imagine how much crap Nadal would have gotten if he never won a Wimbledon?
