I guess no one seems to be following the event.

thats nice, the US and canada are cleaning up in the medal counts, but then the europeans and russians as well as the chinese are not in the games.

Its a big deal for the 6000 athletes and the 41 countries participating, this event has all the disciplines of the Olympics and comprises the best athletes North and South America has to offer,Yet for some reason American news and sports sources are not airing any of the events and i'm sure most Americans have no idea the event is even taking place...

Jambo.....was that a Freudian slip, when you wrote the title of this post ?

CanAm Games ? Shouldn't it be the Pan Am Games, instead ?

In any case, yes the US media has been silent on this topic, which is surprising given that they are leading in the medal count. On the other hand, with a national population that is 90 percent smaller than that of the USA........Canada is doing very well, indeed.
