Said after the match he was just tired.

That win for Murray means he's back to No.2 in the world rankings. Just a year after he dropped out of the top 10. A great run of form that's been overshadowed a bit by the relentless Djokovic.

Tonight is yet another Murray/Djokovic ATP1000 final. Hoping for a different outcome than the usual one this time!

Big win for Belinda Bencic in Toronto last night. She's the first teenager to beat Serena Williams since Sharapova 11 years ago.

She now plays Simona Halep in the final. A lot of people are tipping Bencic to be the next Hingis. She's proving them right so far. It'll be an interesting final.

Serena's sure thing of a CYGS, and 5 Majors in a row, is now looking vulnerable.
Mind you, Azarenka knocked over Serena a couple of years ago in Cincy, and then reappeared as her bunny again in the USO final.

He lost his will and played with a total broken spirit. Something that rarely show in players like Nadal, Djokovic, and Federer.

I personally wouldn't say that at all. How many times have we seen Serena lose to a good player and then dominate or at least control the match the next time (or next 10 times) they've played? Last year she lost in the same round in Canada (to her sister Venus), yet Serena still won the U.S. Open.

That's a big result for Murray. Perfect timing ahead of the US Open. Gutsy performance. That 18 minute service hold in the decider was intense.

Tonight's win is his 35th career title, 11th Masters level, putting him equal 10th on the all time list with Sampras.

Belinda Bencic won the WTA event in Toronto. Halep had to retire at 0-3 in the final set. She will go 12th in the rankings. Not bad for an 18yr old.

Any Brits going to Davis Cup in Glasgow? I'm excited to say the least, every time I am in Glasgow I seem to end up terribly drunk - could be a problem

Very good victory for Andy, and perhaps even more importantly is that he goes back up to Number 2 in the Rankings (for USO seedings):

ATP World Tour | Tennis | Montreal 2015 Final Murray Djokovic

Yep, avoiding Djokovic until the final is no bad thing. Murray is now a whole slam win's worth of points clear of Federer on the road list.

Based on current form, I'd back Murray to beat everyone else just now. A Murray/Djokovic final is the most likely outcome. Can't rule out Federer of course, and for me Nishikori (assuming the hip injury clears up), Wawrinka & Berdych would be the other most likely contenders.
