Magic's "Little Skyhook" over boston in 1985 NBA Finals.
Lakers Game 7 victory over boston a couple years ago.
Kirk Gibson's home run against the As in the 1988 World Series.
Buckner flubbing the grounder in the 1986 World Series (not that I wanted the Mets to win - I just hate boston).
The Kings FINALLY winning the Stanley Cup in 2012. I telephoned friends who I hadn't spoken with in 25 years - friends I use to attend Kings games with back in the 1980s.

I can't believe this is actually on YouTube, but here it is: Ed Young's last-second jump shot as the Dayton Flyers beat DePaul in 1984. If you were a Flyer Fanatic back then, this game was a Big Deal.

all these I saw live on TV.
And a lot are MJ moments.
MJ Last shot in 98 against the Jazz
When all the papers in '95 read "I'm back"
When he hit the game winner against the Hawks in 95 after his comeback.
Patriots vs. Raiders snow game in 2002. I remember Vinatieri hitting the game winner and it was exciting.
Devin Hester return for touchdown on the first play of the super bowl in 2007.

The Yankees pulling the biggest choke job in baseball history in the '04 ALCS.

I was also happy for the '04 Sox for finally figuring out how to win a World Series. Funny though, the Sox haven't been quite as interesting for me to watch since then.

South Carolina winning the 2010 and 2011 CWS (I know college baseball isn't high on most sports fans' list, but this was a big deal for us long-suffering Gamecock fans).

Another Gamecock moment, when they beat Ohio State in the 2000 Outback Bowl. Again, not a huge deal when you're looking at the overall sports world, but we were 1 year removed from an 0-11 season, and at the time we only had 1 bowl win EVER in our history. So beating a traditional Big 10 power on New Year's Day was a thrill for us.
