Dullahan doesn't want 12-furlongs either. Not to mention his low win %

The Baffert colt (Paynter) looks like the biggest threat to IHA, in my opinion.

Nice long (7f) work over the track ... and another quick one on the training strip

Would be fitting for a Baffert runner to deny the TC bid after Bode got caught in both the Derby and Preakness

Of course, the BIG question with Paynter is the lack of experience.


That said, if Gutierrez doesn't make any big mistakes, IHA should take this thing and (finally) break the long stretch between TC winners...

Thanks Ghengis. 5-2 was fair but the trifecta was great with that no shot closer Dullahan off the frame.

Humans have screwed up the breed too much at this point.

None of these young horses seem to have the durability and/or stamina to sweep a three-race set like this anymore...
