India started like they were going to score well over 300 unless Riaz bailed Pakistan out. Gul had a bad day. Afridi was effective but not dominating.

Pakistan did a good job limiting India to 260.

Pakistan's batting started well out and smooth but then started to play bad shots. After the 4th wicket, it went downhill.

Pakistan's fielding was terrible and Sachin got like 7 lives. Too many dropped catches. Pakistan could have limited India to 225 or under.

Home field helped India a lot, it was loud.

Lot of pretty girls in the stands.

This was a good match to bring the two countries together more.

India recovered very well after Sehwag and Tendulkar fell quite early. I guess they did not wanted to let their home fans down in the most important match of the country.

I believe ICC has decided to cut the amount of teams competing at the next world cup. This means likely dropping of Ireland & Canada (?)

What do you guys think?

I don't like the fact they they dropped Ireland. They did well in this WC.

Canada won a match but Netherlands/Kenya won Nil!

Well, we all know Australia is not that strong a team at the moment...however against Bangladesh last night we reached 230 in 26 overs, 9 wickets in hand and Shane Watson hit 186 runs off 96 balls.

The gulf between good & bad in cricket at the moment it too stark IMO.

Anyone see the Indian dismissal of Ian Bell?

Just before Tea, Bell hit the ball thought it was a four (therefore dead) and left his wicket.... Consequently run out..

well done to the Indian cricket team for showing, sportsmanship and allowing Bell to resume his innings..

Must say the English crowd booing the Indian team on resumption of play wasn't a highlight. India to the letter of the law, didn't do anything wrong.

I have to say I didn't feel sorry for Bell, you can't just assume its a boundary and walk out of your crease.
