Friday's AM Four-Ball pairings announced (four-ball records)...

Mickelson (5-6-2)/D Johnson (debut)
v
Westwood (6-4-2)/Kaymer (debut)

Cink (1-0-3)/Kuchar (debut)
v
McDowell (1-1-0)/McIlroy (debut)

Woods (3-6-0)/Stricker (0-1-0)
v
Poulter (2-1-0)/Fisher (debut)

Watson (debut)/Overton (debut)
v
Harrington (2-5-0)/Donald (0-0-1)

Not likely Pavin could put together any combination of pairings "on paper" that look real good for these opening four-ball matches considering that Europe hold a 57 to 38 points advantage since 1985.

Given the early tee times from Wales and the lack of expectations on the groom, you should be able to see most if not all the coverage. It's not like you have to prepare yourself or anything.

One really weird thing about Hawaii is the 8 am kick-offs for those noon (CST) games. Would guess your tiki-bar down by the pool should open in plenty of time for the first round of Bloodies.

Unlikely that the matches will finish Sunday and there is a possibility that not all of the single matches will be played in their entirety on Monday, in which case those matches will be called draws no matter what the actual score is at the time.

Quote:
If play continues into Monday, it has to be completed by 6:43 p.m. local time (which is sunset). Whoever leads in completed matches at that time would win the Ryder Cup; any matches remaining on the course would be considered halved.

Monday's Singles matches being shown on USA Network beginning at 4 am (EST). Match-ups (World Rank/Ryder Cup Singles Record (W-L-H))...

4:05 Stricker (4/0-1-0) v Westwood (2/2-4-0)
4:17 Cink (35/1-3-0) v McIlroy (9/na)
4:29 Furyk (5/4-1-1) v Donald (8/1-1-0)
4:41 D Johnson (12/na) v Kaymer (6/na)
4:53 Kuchar (11/na) v Poulter (15/2-0-0)
5:05 Overton (48/na) v Fisher (27/na)
5:17 Watson (24/na) v Jimenez (25/0-3-0)
5:29 Woods (1/3-1-0) v F Molinari (32/na)
5:41 Fowler (34/na) v E Molinari (14/na)
5:53 Mickelson (3/3-4-0) v Hanson (41/na)
6:05 Z Johnson (20/0-1-0) v Harrington (22/3-2-0)
6:17 Mahan (16/0-0-1) v McDowell (13/1-0-0)

Although the World Rankings favor US in just 6 of the 12 match-ups, I see Westwood, Poulter and maybe Harrington as the only Europeans that have a clear advantage over their US opponents. I think the US will get their 8 and 1/2 points to keep the Cup.
