Hi everyone,
I am a therapist, and am working with an inmate who has somewhat borderline intellectual functioning and has 2 kids with autism. He has an anger problem, but when he gets out of prison, he will be a full-time dad to the 2 kids. (needless to say, I am very concerned about his frustration tolerance...we are working on this). I am trying to find some VERY basic readings for him, as his kids were newborns when he went into prison and he has no knowledge of autism or parenting for that matter. I have readings I usually recommend, but I honestly think that he won't be able to understand them. I might just end up adapting them, but I was wondering if you have any ideas for some really basic and easy to understand readings?
