On November 3rd one of the most powerful solar flares to date erupted from a Sunspot on the Sun's "surface".

Radio communications were disrupted 45 minutes after the event and more interference is still possible.

Actually there would be NO real heat(that would be long wavelength infrared radiation) involved at all........ .

Just lotsa deadly radiation(high energy/short wavelength)....especially Gamma Rays.

And IF it were powerful enough to temporarily plow through our magnetosphere......it won't be pretty.

The E.M.P. pulse(ElectroMagnetic Pulse) could shut down most of the power grid and most electronics, not hardened to withstand the radiation....depending on where/when it strikes.

Satellites that we depend on extensively, can easily be interfered with, damaged and even rendered permanently useless.

And would increase future cancer rates dramatically....

Get out the tin foil hats!
