Woo hoo. AT&T is issuing new phones. I have a choice of 3 smart phones. One was a crackberry... I am not impressed. The other was a Palm. I have an old Palm Pilot M105 from years ago... And the 3rd is the HTC with the android system. I am really leaning towards the Android.

Or I renig the contract and get a iPhone. I am also getting a new data card and a promise of better coverage. I think a new contact might be able to save me some money.

I'm going to give AT&T a whirl. The best I can do with a BB is 6 months before it needs replacement. I'm coming up on 6 months.

Remember how many times my Palm Pre has butt dialed you. LOL I'd go with the Android. It's what I really wanted but the Palm was free and I needed it that day. My SIL has the Droid Incredible and really likes it.

The two providers who have statewide coverage are At&T well transitioning and Verizon Sprint covers the I-29 corridor.

Verizon has better west river coverage. I am an AT&T customer for now. I am going to get the HTC come new phone time.

I remembered old Alltel will eventually be AT&T... at least, I think? Now, there's no AT&T in SD that I know of.

Sprint is worse... It's only along the I-29 corridor, and only south of Watertown... Outside of that, its roaming.
