hilton head (rent, shop, best)

hey i will be visiting hilton head island in a few weeks and ive never been there before and i was wondering what there is to do there if you are 18? do people surf? thanks

I don't think the surfing there is the best but you can try. You could do some kayaking, parasailing or rent a waverunner. It is mostly a golfing and tennis resort with shopping and biking.

Have you thought about learning golf? You rent clubs, take a class and have a blast playing golf at the most desirable golf resorts in the country if not the world. You won't find great surfing but you have an opportunity to play golf your golfer friends would kill to enjoy. Hilton Head is golf heaven.
