We are looking to relocate between Charleston and Savanna and Waterboro looks good on a map Any comments, opinions, warnings or suggestions are welcome.
We are retired. Looking for a bit of space around us, 3 bed 2 bath minimum and up to $400,000.

Just curious, how did you find Walterboro? Ever been to SC or the Lowcountry?

Equi distance between Charleston and Savanna- just Zillow hopping really.

I suggest you look at Summerville. You want to be closer to Charleston. Savanna has some nice areas, but little to offer.

Walterboro doesn’t offer much. I would focus more on Beaufort area. More shopping, dining options. Also closer to the coast. Just my $.02. Walterboro has a Walmart and the normal interstate fast food options. That’s about it. Not much “character” to it.
