I wonder if Walmart Neighborhood Market #4443 has affected its immediate competition.

Bi-Lo #5277, Hanna Market, 1706 East Greenville Street, Anderson, South Carolina 29621-2009, has not undergone a store refreshment. Bi-Lo refreshed several stores prior to its acquisition of Winn Dixie in 2011.

Food Lion #2208, 3750 North Highway 81, Anderson, South Carolina 29621-4422, is conveniently located in the Hopewell community. It lags behind in competition.

Ingle's Markets #240, 2404 North Highway 81, Anderson, South Carolina 29621-2505, is undergoing a store remodel in phases. It added Ingle's Gas Express last year. It is replacing its video department with a pharmacy department. No pharmacy permit has been issued from the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy yet. I do not know if Ingle's will go for a pharmacy drive through at this location yet.

Publix #360, Anderson Pavilion, 1611 East Greenville Street, Anderson, South Carolina 29621-2006, is usually busy.

A Walmart Neighborhood Market store is proposed for the southeast corner of Pearman Dairy Road and Whitehall Road. The proposed 41,117 square feet store would have a pharmacy drive thru and fuel station. The proposal goes before Anderson County's Planning Board on Tuesday, 16 January 2016.

Lidl has plans for three stores in the counties of Greenville (1 store) and Spartanburg (2 stores). Is anyone aware of speculation Lidl may be seeking sites for stores in Anderson County?

Bi-Lo #5626's pharmacy has closed ahead of the store's closing. I do not know if the pharmacy business has been split between stores 5277 (Hanna Market, 1704 East Greenville Street, Anderson, South Carolina 29621-2009) and 5709 (4405 Highway 24, Anderson, South Carolina 29626-5216).
