Its odd that its 100% only season pass. They did not even retain a game of the week for broadcast on cbs, fox, nbc, espn or anything else. I would think the better way to market is to keep offering a single game each week on a non-exclusive platform, and use that to advertise the season pass. But sports is turning into a subscription only viewing option.
I try and watch MLS when it starts every season and I just can't get into it. Not sure how well it's growing. They keep adding new teams and it feels as though i's diluting a league already low on quality? I try and watch it each season and fall away by the fourth match or so. The quality just isn't there yet.
I understand that feeling! I just do not understand the rapid expansion MLS has been undertaking. But what do I know???
I'm also getting used to UK/Europe morning matches. At noon on a Saturday, I'm done watching. 7:30pm on Saturday, it's kind of antisocial to unplug from life for two hours to watch sports. Live at Gillette? Sure. Tailgate dinner, two hours in the stadium, and drive home.

I love the early PL match. I'm done and my day if open.
Watching Wrexham v. Sheffield today. while I do not expect Wrexham to win, if they do, Spurs will be going to the Racecourse. I was never a Wrexham supporter, but the Ryan Reynolds documentary has made me interested in the club and its history. while I do not care much for Hollywood rich people, I have developed some love for this town and its history. A visit by Spurs would be great for business, and bring more attention to them. Plus I think Spurs would have an easier time with a National League club than Sheffield who may well be promoted again.

Right... They really need to split the league into two, and do relegation/delegation. And to stop adding teams left and right.

I could get behind that! MLS League 1 and MLS League 2. I'm sure some marketing firm would develop was cooler names, and in no time it would be the Nike League X or the Under Armor League Y. But that would be fun.
