Some of those cities might be hosting in 2026, remember the "Group of 17" will be further reduced to a "Final 10". I think NYC, LA and Boston will definitely make the "Final 10".

I don't believe the United States would have won on its own. But remember, the talk of this being a "united" bid is a stretch--the U.S. will be hosting 75% of the matches including all of the most important knockout round matches.

I am going to guess that Mexico will have 3 venues, Canada will have 3 venues and the US will have 12 venues.

They already came out and said 3 host cities each in both Mexico and Canada and only 10 host cities in the US (16 Total):

I am surprised why Chicago is not one of the Host cities.
They lost the bid purely because of bribes, nothing else. 2018 and 2022 are corrupt as the day is long. I doubt FIFA wouldve given it to Morocco, Mexico or Canada if they had individual bids.
