I love the look of the Crate & Barrel sofas, the slip-cover look, but at 83 inches long, they are too large for my small townhouse. Does anyone know of a furniture store that sells similiar ones in a smaller size ? Ethan Allen has smaller ones , but they are so much more formal-looking & not at all the look I had wanted. Thanks for any help, guys. nancy

83 inches is long for a sofa? I just ordered one of those $299 sofas for my spare room (sale at Rooms to Go)- I believe it was 87 inches and they describe it as being "suited for smaller spaces". Are you looking for a loveseat instead?
I've noticed, that when I went to "Rooms to Go", that they have Cindy Crawford designing furniture now, and that she has her own line.
She uses different sizes, textures....and are modern and sleek aka like the "Crate and Barrel" look.
I also noticed, that they do have different sizes available especially for small apartments and condos.
If everything else fails, buy the sofa size which suits you, and buy the slip covers separate. (As a "back up" plan)
But I'm sure, you will be able to find something.

Have you looked at Pottery Barn? They have beautiful slipcovered sofas. On the cheaper side, Ikea has slip covered sofas that are inexpensive. We have had good luck with both.
Have you considered furnishing the room with a loveseat and 2 chairs instead of a sofa? It might fit better. Good luck!
