When you're sick of the Vancouver rainy season, Moving, give good ol' Boston a try. I think you'd like Boston a lot better than any place in the PNW.

Thanks for the suggestion, Woof. Good ol' Boston is a fine city, which I like. However, I don't think, weather in the Northeast with it's hot sticky summers and cold winters is much better than in Vancouver. It's just different, but both places are not ideal weatherwise.

Both Vancouver and Boston offer a lot. However, Vancouver's natural setting is hard to beat, in my opinion. In general, PNW offers amazing natural surroundings, which adds a lot to the urban landscape.

All I'm saying is that you move to a place that's suitable for you.

You want the truth about Seattle? Well here it goes. Seattle is basically good for 3 main reasons :

1) Seattle is a good place to make money and succeed at a career.

2) Seattle is a good place to raise a family.

3) Seattle is a good place to enjoy and appreciate lots of beautiful nature. We got trees, mountains, fresh air, lots of water, and is just a good place to enjoy the outdoors.

Other than these 3 things, you may as well be somewhere else like New York, Vancouver, Los Angeles, or Charleston, South Carolina.

Other than those 3 things? Maybe you are being sarcastic and I missed it but those 3 things are pretty big! Pretty much why I'm here anyway.

You can't just compare other cities with NYC. NYC is just too special. There is only one New York in this world.

I lived in Seattle for three months and a half and now I lives in Beijing. I miss Seattle a lot. My feeling is that Seattle is not like other part of United States very much in that is more European styled. Plus, living in West Coast must be different from the east coast. If you want more cultural stuff, try Chicago.
