Come to think of it, in all my trips to Seattle, I only remember seeing one attractive guy there. The rest were sort of pasty and doughy.

Many of the Italian immigrants did quite well. Add Albert Rosellini to the list which I was reminded of when crossing the 520 on an almost daily basis. And Fred Couples.

I did know that. And none of them were "greasy," based on pictures I've seen. It's just that the ones I've met from there (including distant cousins who were born there that I never knew as a kid) didn't have the "kick" I'm used to. I couldn't joke around with them the way I could with my cousins elsewhere...and I like to joke around.

Could have been two, but maybe I'd already left...or you didn't cross the bridge to Bellevue.

...and let's not forget Mario Batali, who not only hails from Seattle, but has old Seattle Italian-American roots( The Merlino Family).
Gov Rosellini had a first cousin also big in the restaurant biz, Victor, who had a few great local restaurants back in the day.

Too many (grayish) short-haired women with their Sedona- bought Indian jewelry driving Subarus with bumper stickers like "Keep Your Laws off my body" (as if somebody might physically impregnate you? doubtful) or "The Goddess is Alive." It was depressing.
Seattle. Pegged.

When I've been at airports looking for the gate for the Seattle flight, all I've needed to do was look at the ground. If there's a high preponderance of Birkenstocks and wool socks, it's going to Seattle or Portland.

Correction: Fremont/Ballard/Greenlake pegged. This does not apply to Capitol hill, Belltown, Queene Anne, Beacon Hill, etc....

Please. You see it all over. Just like you do the big W bumperstickers in the "no" sign. Or the "Visualize Ballard" bumper stickers that you will see, even in Redmond. Or the ever popular, "Visualize Whirled Peas" and "My other ride is a broomstick"

Have fun with the Seattle stereotypes - don't be so defensive!!
