I personally do not mind crisp, cool, overcast days, but the minute the wind kicks up and the rain starts hitting you from the side is when I make plans to stay inside for the day. I don't care for the humidity in FL, so the dry air here is a positive for me; but I will admit sometimes the weather is repulsive. The biggest thing is that it's sporadic and while the sun might be out for one minute, it may be pouring down rain the next. But as I said, I don't mind overcast clouds, it's just the rain and wind that get to me.

People there are unpretentious and most are genuine artists who devote lots of time to their craft. There are incredible interior design stores, an architect's studio viewable by the public, homey feeling bars, and a couple music venues, just to name a few amenities. There is also a brewhouse there that is absolutely archaic.

Columbia city is also a nice ethnically diverse neighborhood.

Being from Pittsburgh, I love the sounds of that neighborhood....probably not to live but definitely visit often! Thank you!
