Subject says a lot. She adores Seattle. Probably cause we live in Texas and everything around here is so ugly. Anyway, like I said, she wants Seattle things. I certainly could use some help. I mean, I plan on getting her a calendar and such, but I'm trying to be a little more creative than that. Any ideas? Is there a local restaurant that will ship food? I'm thinking kind of like how some pizzaria's in Chicago will ship pizza pies. Any other ideas?

Thanks. We're currently saving up some cash so we can vacation there.

I think finding out better WHY she likes Seattle so much may narrow your options better. I'd guess the gray anatomy show has something to do with it but it could be any of a few things.

Well, she "loves" the rain and the scenery. Other than that, she really doesn't know. She doesn't watch any TV shows that take place in the city. I think it's the allure of the big city.

Get her some Seattle Mariners apparel or other things along that line. That is what I did. I purchased a Seattle Mariners mug, I got the hat, and a screensaver on my laptop of the same team.

Some of the seafood places will ship the Pacific Northwest smoked salmon, and that's a Seattle thing. Coffee is another Seattle thing, but hopefully your daughter's not drinking it, but in addition to the original Starbucks, there's also Seattle's Best and Seattle Coffee Works( really good) and a zillion others. You can probably buy a University of Washington sweatshirt or something, or one from Seattle University or Seattle Pacific University.

The cool kids are all wearing Felix Hernandez jerseys since Ichiro got traded. Mr. Perfect Game. I don't have one, but then again I haven't been cool since around 1973.

Where I live, being a Mariners fan isn't considered cool. I remember back in the 90s being a Mariners fan in middle school and alot of kids would make fun of me for it. I still have some old stuff featuring Ken Griffey Jr.

I would also get a Sounders FC jersey too. The logo features the Space Needle.

There are many things to get a person who likes Seattle. I can relate because I once lived in Seattle, and I want to return someday, to live. In addition to Seattle Mariners and Seattle Sounders FC apparel, there are other things I can suggest. A picture of the Seattle skyline should help. Starbucks makes ice cream. A Starbucks shirt is a good idea. Some music by Jimi Hendrix should help, as he is from there. Anything with the Space Needle on it should be a good idea.
