Hi there. I am currently living in Lynnwood but hoping to get a little closer to Seattle. I was thinking Shoreline area. Can anyone recommend a decent area that is reasonable for a family of 3? I was looking at a few apts on Aurora but read reviews that it is a heavy area for gang/prostitution so didnt think that this would be appropriate. Can anyone verify this?

Furthurmore, if anyone can recommend other areas that are great besides Shoreline that works too so long as it is bus friendly and shopping nearby!

Thanks to whoever responds!

Lynnwood to Shoreline - what is that? - About 5 minutes - is that worth the hassle of a move?

OP must be new. Aurora Ave is traditionally known for that sort of thing. Just live a block or more away from Aurora, and you'll be fine.

@tobestor Its definitely worth it to me. It takes over an hour to get to Seattle by bus!

@inkpoe Thanks for the input!
