We are moving from the midwest and noticed the mosquitoes are much less of a nuisance. Can anyone elaborate on any nonharmless varieties of spider?

Thanks

We have a fully finished basement, but still find most of the spiders there, opposed to upstairs. They are both daddy long-legs and just a little brown basement spider. Not black widows or brown recluse.

Thank you godhead. That is the EXACT bug. It was big, mosquito type looking, actually from far away when you can't see the wings and it's just sitting on a wall, it looked like a daddy long leg spider. But that is the bug.
