Correct, but also elementary and Jr. High, and they do have lockers.

OK, so WA schools still use lockers. However, because it is Southern California, eventually EVERY trend from there will spread across the country. So eventually, WA schools will have no lockers.

BTW, this post is totally tongue-in-cheek.

I personally never used a locker throughout high school, both at the school I attended in WA and the school I attended in TX. They're inconvenient when you have only a couple minutes between classes.

I went to skyline high school which is probably 13 years old and it does not have any lockers. We got used to it and it wasn't a big deal from what I remember.
