My solar lamps are starting to die off. Replacing the battery doesn't help. Maybe the bulb or other part has gone bad. The bulb seems soldered on. Does anyone know if solar lamps are repairable?
The "bulb" is probably an LED. LEDs do have a limited lifespan, but it should be longer than the battery. The challenge to replacing the LEDs would be finding identical ones that match up with the voltage and the voltage regulator circuit in the fixture. Unless you're handy with a soldering iron and able to do the legwork to match up those LEDs, you'll probably have to settle for replacing the lamps.
