So I have a tablet (Asus Transformer Prime) with Android 4.0, a Barnes & Noble Simple Touch, and a Wiindows desktop at home. I'd hoped I'd be able to use the Barnes and Noble system. I'm very surprised that first of all, they don't sync with each other. How in 2012 can they not make sure that their ecosystem syncs across devices?

But i can live with that for casual reading. My dilemna is that I'm a grad student, so I need to be able to mark up and/or highlight PDFs AND BOOKS. Nook App on android doesn't allow markup or highlighting (!!). Basically if anyone can help--is there an application for an Android tablet which can mark up PDF files and Epub books (even books purchased from Barnes & Noble?)? The application should ideally be able to save the markups. Adobe PDF is no good because it doesn't bookmark---there's really some major oversights here by major companies I'm very surprised.

So yes, I need good PDF and EPUB readers.
