Hi, I am flying into Savannah, GA on a Sunday and was wondering what the alcohol laws were for Sundays? Are bars open? Thanks in advance.

Package stores are closed.
No sales of alcohol in retail stores.
Kroger's, 7-11, and the like.
Bars open at noon on Sundays.
But I believe that they can't start serving until noon:thirty?
Others have been here longer, maybe they could tell you more.

Bars are not open on Sunday unless they serve food. You can buy drinks in restaurants, as well. Essentially this makes all of the above restaurants. But not all restaurants serve alcohol. LOL

Ahhh...
Now I see why The Brit isn't open on Sundays, and yet The Islander is.
Thanks Darlin'.

There are still a couple of 7-11s around. I think, (but not sure) that the names where changed to "Chu's"

Not the (used to be) nationwide chain though, home of the slurpee. I believe Savannah lost those in the early 80's.
