I lived in San Jo in 1993, and I used to go there. It's right by a light rail station. It was dirt cheap, they'd have theatrical releases right before they were about to come out on video, and "sleepers."

It was a great thing for me to do on hot weekday nights.

According to today's San Jose Mercury News, there is a Cinelux Almaden Cinema in the Willow Glen area. It has 5 screens (Spiderman 3 and 4 other movies playing today) .

Are you talking about the Almaden theatre near Curtner & Willow Glen high school? I believe it is closed.

Yep. That's too bad, I suppose that kind of business can't make enough money to pay the rent no more.
