I have my Behind the wheel test in San jose DMV
Does any one know what route/route does DMV Inspector take during the test ?

Do they ask Parallel Parking inSan jose ?

There is no specific route. You just go for a 15 minute drive and the examiner tells you where to drive depending on how he feels that day. Not sure about parking. The examiner may skip it or not.

You can call up a private company that gives behind-the-wheel training - they know the routes (usually 3 different routes the DMV examiner can choose from).
Not sure if they will tell you the routes unless you are that company's client/student.

DMV will always require that you be tested on parallel parking. Not sure if its done in San Jose though, depends on where the office is your being tested at.

If it were me, I would apply to test through the Menlo Park/Palo Alto DMV office, that way, the test would not be so intense as in San Jose (traffic, uninsured drivers, etc).
