We are planning to buy home in Buena view Court apartments/townhome? We liked the neighborhood. We checked that the schools are good nearby. How safe is that area? And What about the resale value up there as we are going for a two story home ( 1 bed at each level with 2 bathrooms)? Thanks so much in advance

The 95121 zip code is very hit or miss. It ranges from some really bad neighborhoods to some very upscale neighborhoods. The neighborhood you're looking at is in the nicer part of 95121, closer to the Bel-Aire and Silver Creek Valley Country Club areas which are very upscale.

I wouldn't be concerned about overall safety, but I do know personally that there are occasionally burglaries in the area. I have a friend who's parents live very close to there and they've had issues with stolen mail and there also have been some burglaries close by. Overall though, I'd still consider it to be a safe and nice area of San Jose.

Very good area, and unlike a bunch of neighborhoods in 95121, this neighborhood is considered part of Evergreen proper.
