All,

I'm trying to get green and leverage public transport.

The VTA Express 120 from Fremont -> Sunnyvale is great. I'm trying to find somewhere I can routinely leave a car parked overnight. The route ends at LockHeed Martin Transit Center.

Does anybody have any recommendations on safe and allowable places to keep a car parked overnight? Will the big corporations nearby mind if you leave your car parked overnight?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The VTA and Caltrain lots won't allow it, but you can certainly park on the street overnight in the industrial zone, say on 5th Ave between Mathilda and Bordeaux. Just don't leave anything in your car and don't be surprised if it gets stolen - a car parked in an unguarded and unpatrolled area anywhere will be a bullseye for thieves.

Do not park your car in the big companies lots. Security patrol these lots, and will check if the plates are "registered".... if not, it will be tolled.
