How ridiculous if people want to die I say "LET THEM" don't jeopardize the beauty of the bridge for something so cynical.

I think they should do it... the other bridges that were mentioned in the area do not allow pedestrians (as far as I can tell) so if someone is seen walking or doing anything suspicious someone is probably going to report them.. there is something about the Golden Gate bridge that makes it a destination for this sort of thing and I think they should do it (put up the net).. people are allowed to walk freely on both sides of the bridge and I just don't think its a good idea to keep it the way it is, its just too easy of access, sure if someone wants to kill themselves they will probably find another way but I think that the bridge is too tempting of a place for someone in this mindset as they know that they can go there and receive a lot of attention.. also people may even think about how it would be on the news, etc so anything that can lessen this "appeal" is a good thing in my opinion.
