Here is a copy of the actual report itself, if anyone cares to read about the background, criteria, methodology or recommendations.

The report only covers "major urban roads and highways." A lot of San Jose's major roads have been fixed up since 2008, like 101 and the Montague Expressway, but our minor city streets are much worse. I invite you to try driving down Rogers Ave without losing your lunch. And I hear gardening trucks slamming on the same pothole every day. And of course 85, 237, and 280 are still pitiful.

The Nimitz to me is the worst - every time I drive on it I feel like I have a flat tire. We drove to OAK before we went to Mexico so I saw some juxtaposition, and the roads we drove in Mexico were great in comparison.

The Nimitz is the worst anything ever. They reduced the speed limit to, what is it now, 45? through downtown instead of fixing the damn road.

Yeah, the Nimitz is just unbelievable. It also gives visitors arriving into OAK a terrible first impression.

Didn't the Nimitz Collapse back during the 1989 quake , i would be surprised if half the Bay Area Bridges collapsed during the Next Quake.

Yup, 45. I thought that was for traffic control measures but I can easily believe it's so people don't blow their tires on potholes. I know there are a lot of heavy-duty big rigs that travel down 880 but if other places can re-do their roads after every freeze, the 880 should be able to be paved on a regular basis also.
