What is going on? I know it's early, but really, did anyone expect this at ANY time throughout the season? LOL!

I am a huge fan. I hope it continues. I'd love to see us win our division with our little $40mm payroll!!!

Take that, A-Rod!!!! Doesn't he make like 5 times as much as our whole team combined????

Yeah, it's been fun, but let's revisit in July.

I'm trying to live in the moment. I'm afraid the moment will pass too soon if I don't!

But I have to admit, I was SOOOOOOO happy to see them ruin the Mets' home opener in their new stadium!

It was fun to see Mike Piazza get such a great reception there at the "new and improved" Shea!

"We've" done well against the Mets lately. My favorite moment last year was witnessing Tony Clark's clutch HR against Pedro Martinez during a day game at Petco. They swept that 4-game series.

I am a huge Dodger fan, and if I had a second team in the devision it would be the Padrres. When I was just a little girl the Padres were in the Pacific coast, AAA league. I really thoguht they were all priests...

Will they continue? I am willing to bet, the Dodgers will run away with the devision, but who knows?

LOL! With your payroll, they better. It's very hard to justify that when you don't make the playoffs, no?

Now, see, here's the great thing about being a Padres fan. We don't expect much, so when they do well we're so happy. When they don't, oh, well, we weren't expecting much!! LOL!

We used to have have season tickets four rows behind Dodger dugout (corporate tickets but we could use them whenever we wanted). We only went when the Padres played there!! LOL!

The Padres were on a five game winning streak, then this thread appears, and they lose. I'm not calling it a jinx, but ...
