Remember last year, it was October 15, when we still had an excessive heat over 100 F average maximum? What about this year?

It can happen at random, potentially multiple times, in any given year.

Who knows? Supposed to get pretty warm in the next week or so. Doubt it will get anywhere near 100 unless your inland. During this time of year is when we start to get consistent patterns of warm days and cool days. Each phase lasts anywhere from a couple days to almost a week, and when the warmer spells come, the intensity varies so you could just warm up to slightly above average temps or you could have a heat wave similar to what you are talking about. All depends on the intensity of the high pressure system and where it is situated.

It will get hot again. I would prefer it not because I love this, but September is one of the hottest months and October often is very hot too.

Source? Because I'd say it's more like 10% max. Late October is when it usually finally cools off.

Only 2 years since 2010 have there been higher than average temps on Halloween (2013 & 2015). This is at least according to weather history data on Wunderground.

I heard it's going to get very hot again at least through the beginning of October. I don't know about Halloween. I don't recall Halloween usually be exceptionally hot.

It normally heats up again here in September and October. I think we will have warm weather again over the next month at various times. October is always one of my favorite times at the beach as the tourists are gone and the weather is still perfect!

I hope so. My pool is cooling down and it's only September.
