The place we are looking to live in downtown SD does not have enough parking for residents so we need to figure out parking some other way....we dont have much extra money....

does anyone have any thing that they do for parking that is inexpensive? Thanks!

There are a number of places that will rent spaces for around $100 a month. Or you could try to find street parking, but sometimes that's tough.

Another option would be to find a place that has parking. Yes, you may pay more in rent, but if you've got to cough up an extra c-note anyway, maybe that will work better for you.

Since you dont have extra cash, depnding on where the unit is will depend on street parking availability.
One other tip to keep in mind for street parking if you are unfamiliar with city street cleaning is that it happens often and you need to watch for the signs. The Enforcers are pretty militant sbout ticketing so def keep in mind the meters start at 8am.

Where or what part of downtown is this place?

Like tony said, there is monthly parking available for around 100 at most Ace or 5 Star parking lots. However depending the location, those prices are subject to change during baseball season where they can go up at least another 50 per month
