Hi all, I am transferring to pendleton, want to live in Carlsbad so I can continue to commute by bike. Does anyone have an opinion/good/bad on Pacific Rim Elementary ro Aviara oaks Elementary? We are avoiding Kelly b/c of the cancer scare there (don't want to debate that, my wife says not worth it)

Thanks for any input or suggestions
Jim

Mostly all schools in Carlsbad are pretty high performing and I doubt the level/type of instruction would differ significantly from campus to campus. As far as test scores (and wealth) go, Aviara and Pacific have the best results. I would recommend Aviara based on the fact that I knew kids from my soccer team back when I played La Costa AYSO who attended and also were incredibly smart. I just know that it worked for them and their families...

No personal experience, but that's my take.

rhanifin--thanks for the reply--on the map the Aviara boundary is much larger, so ti is good to hear. i was worried because Pacific Rim is a very small area and we might not find a place to live there--thanks.
