I've always noted that each specific beach town in Orange County tends to cater to a specific type of person. Is this true in San Diego?

Seal Beach- Quiet, reserved, beaches are not as clean, laid back,

Newport Beach- Classic, clean beaches, crowded, very safe

Laguna Beach- Gorgeous beaches, very crowded, more upscale than Newport's beaches, very safe.

Huntington Beach- Caters to the blue collar surfer, a little rougher around the edges than Newport or Laguna, not quite as safe at night as Newport or Laguna

What would Carslbad, Encinitas, Del Mar, La Jolla, Solana Beach be? Do they have their specific crowds they cater to?

Of these which would be the "most desirable" to own a home near the beach?
