So from what I have read in the past, there seems to be a lot of smog in these communities. Is this true? I have severe asthma & I'm trying to find somewhere to move to, but every time I think I find a place, it has bad pollution. Maybe there is just no getting away from it, except places like Montana, etc.
I think I'll just need to pick a place & deal with it!
Thanks for any ones input.

I am sure there is some smog in Temecula but I don't notice it at all. From what I have heard it is much less than other places that are closer to LA.

I haven't noticed any smog either. I can see the mountains. When I lived in Rancho Cucamonga, I couldn't see the mountains less than 5 miles in front of me.

Temecula is well south of the smog express blowing inland from LA. It is only 24 miles from the Pacific as the crow flies, and plenty south of the LA metro area. Under typical conditions, the smog doesn't disperse far enough, fast enough to touch Temecula. Go about 20 minutes up I-15 and it's completely different.

I've seen smog become noticeable a few times.

Thank you so much. That's what I thought. The few times I have been out there I thought it was beautiful, no smog! We live in Banning and would really like to move out that way next year. We are definately getting out of here!
What about Wildomar? I've never been there.

As you drive north on 215, there's a hill you go over, just as you're heading into Riverside, and on the very worst days, that's where you start to see the smog. Doesn't mean there isn't smog south of that - but you only start to actually see the smog layer once you hit Riverside - and that's only on the very worst days. Most of the time it's clear blue skies!

Wildomar is still south of the smog express. I wouldn't worry about smog there.
