Hoping someone here can help. My Mom has been wanting a Croton (the tropical houseplant). I thought it would be a good gift for her for Mother's Day and easy enough to find. Wrong. I'm in New Braunfels and thought surely the local Lowe's or Home Depot would have them. Neither did. Has anyone seen any recently in the S.A. area, preferably on the north/northwest side of town?

Milbergers or Shades of Green.....I also sometimes see them at HEB on Basse....but hurry!
Also San Antonio Flower Company at the Corner of Basse/Nac/Broadway may be open later today...call ahead to be sure they are open. AND Central Market has a great floral dept!

IF you can't find exactly what you want for her per her request, why not give her a CARD with the IOU a day of shopping together for YOUR perfect plant??? That way you get to spend time with her, maybe lunch, and find exactly what she wants and have the memory of doing it together as well.

Thank you both for your suggestions. I called some of the local florists here in town and found one that had a Croton in the shop. I was able to swing by and pick it up on my way to Mom's house yesterday.
