Man, I was all excited. The wind picked up. There was lightening and thunder. And all I got was just a few drops of rain - didn't even make the patio look wet.

Same thing last night. Lots of wind and lightening - but nothing much more than cloud spittle (gramma's phrase!) for rain!

Please tell me we'll get SOMEthing later on - but not if it means tornadoes!
I know, I know - beggars being picky and all that...

Yeah the storms are still developing, so we're not out of the woods just yet.

Where I live (Westcreek) seems to be stuck in a hole there was serious lightning when I pulled onto my street, but we only got a tiny sprinkle. Looks like the eastern, southern, and northern parts are all getting lots of rain and the far west isn't getting jack

I've been watching the weather radar and so far we've been dodging some real nasty weather to the north and south. We may still luck out and get some good rain. It's weird, the storms are heading directly at us and at the last minute they go north or south while continuing to the east. Did somebody put a hex on the city ???
