I just got to school for possibly the most boring class ON EARTH (Texas Civil Procedure 2: Electric Boogaloo) and it's just awful and gross and still, with huge dark clouds to the west. This would be at Culebra and 36th, basically.

Ugh, I hope it rains while I am in class and stops before I have to drive home.

The winds you all felt was the outflow boundary I was talking about.. the very same thing that is causing the storms to generally weaken behind the outflow/gust front. If you step out now.. it's about 10-15º cooler than what it was earlier.

Imagine just an hour or two ago all this energy was still IN the storm.

Hopefully we can get a decent rainfall out of this.

Not scientifically reported, but an educated guesstimate from all the storms I've chased.. peak gusts around the 30-40 mph range by my house in the '09.

Rain continues to weaken on radar.

So....did that kill our 100-degree-day weather streak? I was stuck inside ALL day and have no idea if it was hot or not.
