OK, I hope some of you got the obscure Devo reference...
Anyhow, I am looking for a decent whip; for a
Indiana Jones Halloween costume...
I don't want one of the cheap-o costume ones, but I also don't want to pay a whole bunch of money for it as it will probably never been used again after Halloween.
I figured they might have them at Barkley's in Boerne; but we went by there Saturday afternoon only to find they close at 2:00pm on Saturdays!
Suggestions?

Actually, I thought about a caveat pre-empting any jokes about the kinkiness of my request; but what fun would that be?
And I removed the Devo video because it wouldn't work being embedded. No nefarious reasons, it just didn't work in the post so I removed it.

The Adult Video Megaplex (has 3 locations in SA) is my suggestion. The one you suggested I think is their smallest location.
Another place you might check is a leather store. There used to be one in the Eisenhauer FleaMarket that had some stuff like this-- really leathers for bikers, but I recall they had some whips. If you get a real leather one though it will not be cheap, but not sure how authentic you want your costume to look.

they had some at the Party City (??) or Party-something store near Hwy 281 and Bitters. Might have been the cheap stuff you don't want. Didn't really look at them. (Kids are Snow White and the One Dwarf this year, so whips aren't needed. Thank gawd.)
