It's open. They're pretty good. Haven't had them in years since I've been down to Laredo.

Corner of 410 & N. New Braunfels Ave., on the Eastbound side (inside the Loop). It's just across N. New Braunfels from Chester's.

I love Taco Palenque. I will have to go and visit them. A little expensive for fast mexican food but the food is outstanding.

That was my next question. Went to the website and it did look a little pricey for what it was (fast food) Are the servings big? I would hope so. I haven't been in years so I forgot.

The portions are similar to Taco Cabanas, the food is different and in my opinion, better quality. Also the type of food is different, it is more like the food I get around Juarez.

Damn, like Taco Cabana's servings? That means for a little (to me at least) fajita plate you're gonna spend $10-11 bucks? I also noticed their breakfast tacos aren't too cheap either like lots of other places in town. They want over 2 bucks for most of them.

Good to see them back in a free standing location, its been since the early 90's since there was one in town. I am not counting the north star location.
