Don't have time to build a garage so we're looking at some of the Morgan, Tuff shed type stuff kinda like the stuff at Home depot. Anyone got any experience with this type building? There is a guy off Bandera Road, J.B. wolf ( ??).

Anyone??

Thanks!

Camper1 -What about that fellow /company there on Talley at Wiseman?

I purchased a Tuff Shed directly from them (Bandera Rd / 410). Although the ones at Home Depot are made by them there is a better series that is built. It's their Premier Series. Mine is all 2 x 4's and Plywood. I bought a 6' x 8' which rests on a Galvanized Metal Platform / Skid. I now wish I woud have bought a 8' x 10'

We purchased a Tuff Shed from the Bandera/410 location as well. You can customize the shed in a number of ways -- skylights, paint, trim, windows, ridge vents, doors, shelves, etc etc etc. The one we bought was 12'X20' Premier Series and is, as wellguy mentioned, resting on a galvanized metal platform. They came out and built the shed in the morning and by that afternoon we were moving things in. We did have our electrician come out and put in the wiring, lights, security lights, etc. Wish we had him install a ceiling fan, though!! Go out and talk with them and see what is available. I don't think you could go wrong with any size or design they offer.

Camper1- catriona did the right thing by putting in electrcity.

I chose two options which were a ridge vent and a window. Those were mainly to help ventilate the shed. I know of a fellow that bought a show model from Tuff Shed. As you can imagine they broke it down , hauled it to his place, and then set it up. You couldn't tell it was a model. That may be an option.

My Dad who recently sold their place northwest of Lampasas had a Morgan Building which they purchased in Temple. It has a roll up door, windows, electrcity, and a side door. It's built very well. I'm sorry but I can't remember the size and I have never asked what they paid for it.

I would think this is a great time to buy a Storage Building. By the way you mentioned the Wolf Storage Buildings on inside 410 on Bandera. I run into a lot of folks as you know and several of them have the Wolf Buildings and of course they are pleased.

That's good to know about JB Wolf. it seems they are coming in with the best bid so far for the size we want. Hubby can build it ( he buit our house) I just don't want to spend the time. This will be the first time we have ever had anything built so just looking at everyone. Still have to call a few more places . Had a guy form Morgan come out and he made us a good offer on what they have on display but it's to small. Think we are going to go with the two story, something like the one at Lowes but without the stairs. They take up to much floor space.

Thanks for all the suggestions and recommendations.

How can I hange the tittle to this post?? I called the tax office and they don't care what kind of building it is, just the value. Now we're looking at possibly going ahead and doing a regular two car garage on a slab. Any recommendations on a builder?????
