AUG. 9

KC & The Sunshine Band HemisFair Park, 200 S. Alamo St., (210) 698-2856. '70s disco group performs at this year's Salsa Fest. Its last big gig was a performance on "American Idol" in April. Festival is from 3-11 p.m. (concert time TBA). Tickets, $10 individual, $25 four-pack, $100 VIP, available at H-E-B locations.

Got this on Twitter, first I have heard of the event. Sounds like it might be fun and relatively cheap!
