Where are the best places (area) to look for a 2 Bedroom Apartment in the $700 - $1000 Range.

Looking for a nice apartment in a safe area where Pets are allowed.
Does not have to be new apartments but in good condition (well maintained).
Convenient area will be nice and within one hour from downtown San Antonio on a normal traffic day.

Default Blanco Rd

A friend of mine used to live in the apartments right there on the corner of 1604 & Blanco, the name escapes me right now. There are some nice new ones at Lockhill and 1604 and off of Huebner just north of 1604

Well I'm currently looking also.. although for me it's more like 600-800. But I will tell you one thing.. Artisan on the Bluff is not good. On the Corner of DeZavala & Babcock. Apartmenst are very nice and the playground, pool, and fitness centers are very nice as well but the parking is horrible!! Sometimes I had to park outside the Complex because of the lack of parking. And the staff is snotty, arrogant, and unhelpful. I only had to deal with them once and at first I thought "maybe they're just having a bad day" but later I heard the same thoughts from A LOT of neighbors.

I would look in the medical center area. There are a lot of nice apartments off of Wurzbach, Medical, and Fredericksburg in that range.

Default Go To The San Antonio Crime Data Base

It Will Tell You All About The Area And What Kind Of Crime Is Happening. We Were Going To Move Into An Apartment On Blanco Rd And Didn't Do To The Fact That There Were Car Jackings And Simple Assaults Happening. This Website Very Helped Us.

The Cliffs on Whitby and Sienna Ridge are nice apartments. You should look at their websites and go see them.

Hi,
Chuckling at the difference -it is all relative- and looking forward to it! Where I live now, (Chicago) I've had to drive for over 30 minutes more than once, circling my street and parameter searching for a spot only to find the closest one a mile and a half walk away! Not so bad lately but, then again, it isn't winter time any more.

The suburban sprawl here is rough, drove around yesterday in a local suburb searching for a spot twice and was lucky enough to find them both within a quarter mile of my intended destination.

Nice to read you, I am also seeking apartment information.

,

It is relative and no doubt all the worse when you are the one doing the looking.

I am enthused and eager about my upcoming move! Nervous though because the details cannot get nailed down until the last minute based on my graduation date and my start date being contingent upon my Nursing licensure, (until it is in hand).
