hey guys I have been searching High and low for some fiber optic strands. I want to use them for a lighting project that I have on top of my to do list.

Im looking at about 10-12 feet and about 200-400 strands. Please help!

I will be working on making a huge phoenix for my Trans Am's rear center panel (between the tail lights) well that phoenix will light up lovely heres a link of what I want it to look like. Although My design will be diffrent of his... but the idea came from that guy. and He's been helping me out on where he got his parts. so far I got about 70 percent of it. but The Fibers are really hard to find.

thanks saph, but those are cables, I am just looking for strands they are waaaaay cheaper than getting a jacketed cable. which is meant for pool lighting.

I googled fiber optic strands........I thought they were cheap, according to the price list.

The T/A brings back memories....my BFF in high school had the Silver 10th Anniversary T/A. I don't know how many times we were almost killed in that thing. She was a leadfoot, and that puppy just wanted to GO! Loved taking the t-tops off and cruisin' on Thursday nights downtown. (not here)

I wonder if you could get a deal on a few random-length jacketed multi-strand cable remnants from AT&T and remove the jackets?

Nice I know I might sound like I'm out a few pages. but AT&T used to be SBC right?

and where do they hold their auctions/or fire sales.
